What is your point? British athletics have a 99 year lease on the stadium they are not just going to give that up.

That the stadium doesn't work, nor ever will in its current form.

That Levy was correct that the only sensible option, if the stadium was to be retained as a major football venue, was to build a new stadium on the foundations of the 'former' athletics stadium, with a contribution to UK Athletics to fund an upgrade to Crystal Palace.

That the 2012 Legacy team were wrong in listening to Seb Coe about retaining the venue as an athletics stadium.

That once again the taxpayer got shafted by politicians, big business and vested interests in the process.

So what do you propose?

So where are they gonna play after that if the stadium gets demolished? They've fucked themselves.if they wanted that land. They should have waited another 6 or 7 years to move and paid to build a new football specific stadium on the land there.

I'm not that bothered really. Maybe Wembley, maybe build 4 new stands piecemeal while still playing at the stadium - like I say I don't give one stuff, other than for the genuine football fans of a club who were sold a dream and have inherited a nightmare and for the taxpayers who have been royally shafted.

All I do know is that Gold, Sullivan and Brady will have long gone by the time it all unfolds, leaving someone else to sort out the mess.

(Agree on your other points).

So what do you propose?

Copyright 'hindsight' on behalf of the majority of football fans plus anyone else with half a brain who knew all along this wouldn't work.

Hang Boris Johnson, Seb Coe and Tessa Jowell (eh?) by the balls until they issue hand-written apologies to every taxpayer in the UK who has funded this white elephant of a 'football' stadium.

As for the rest, and what happens to WHU, I care not a jot.

Ok. I thought you were trying to get at something and was just being vague. My bad.

Yeah, a couple of seasons ago, before he went to Juventus.
And last January for 12M but that was mostly agent/paper talk. Funny that WH will have to pay almost 30M to keep him (including the rather large loan fee).

Really need payet to cop an injury before our game. Or just play like that...

Well seeing as its their cup final they will probably play better and it wouldnt suprise me if they beat us, which is all ive heard off them the last couple of years that they beat us three times in one season.

Zaza is so poor. Weren't we heavily linked with him at one point?

It's easy to be critical of another team's player, so let's see what one of the posters is saying about him on KUMB...

"Awful first touch.
No basic ball control.
Poor header of the ball.
No awareness of where he is on the pitch.
Makes no runs in behind.
Poor link up play.
Chases people down and gives free kicks away.
I don't think I've seen him have a shot.
Slow in reaction."

Hmm. Pretty damning. Sounds like the worst possible player you could ever have. Oh, hang on, there's more...

"Honestly. I know he's not the worst player we've ever had."

:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: How much worse could you be? He does finish on a fair point though...

"The bloody right back is starting ahead of him upfront!!!

Well worth the 28m Euros or whatever it was to turn the loan into a perm. Go, West Ham, you know you want to...

They have created a 5 point plan to increase security - but I don't suppose they will be paying for it

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/37810269

West Ham's security plan includes:
Creating more distance between opposing fans to prevent missile throwing. This will be achieved by widening the segregation line on both sides of the lower tier.

Couldn't they just have them stand pitch-side? No missile from the stands could reach them there...not unless they were using rocket launchers!

Agree, they struggled to keep a lid on Upton Park! Another thing is that all these seats that are getting ripped up etc etc is all going to be repaired at the tax payers expense so the dildo brothers really don't care I would imagine!

Oh I'm pretty sure damage done by a tenant would have to be paid for by the tenant. At 500% profit I hope!

Eagle eyed posters will notice that's not actually her arm, but funny nonetheless.

Have to say I think the stewards at the London Stadium did a pretty good job keeping that bunch of fat, bald, middle aged tossers apart. They are part time and no doubt on or near minimum wage and the video posted by Riggi shows them (with some back up from Londons finest) standing firm under a lot of physical and verbal pressure. Well done to them.
