After he crashed his Lamborghini a few years ago Antonio said he was paying £20k to insure an AMG G wagon.
Also the wording of the statements had Sergeant Nicholas Angel screaming in my head. Now it sounds like he'll live and all, maybe use a car service from now on, eh Antonio?

Admire the irony of people wishing him a' 'speedy' recoveryOr the brakes ?
Hope he’s coming out of this and eventually playing again
Yes, dressed as a premier league footballerWhat is it about Christmas time and him crashing cars? Was he in fancy dress this time?
I would guess that was £20k/monthIf his insurance is £20k, and he’s on probably a conservative £60k per week, that’s only 1/3 of a weeks wages, which is less than my insurance is on my van, and I’m 46 with a clean license!!
You only get airlifted to hospital for two reasons basically if you boil it down - life threatening injury or limb threatening injury. Eyewitness accounts say a broken femur in two places - which suggests compound fractures as they wouldn't be obvious otherwise. Thankfully he's talking and conscious now so it's unlikely there are serious head injuries. Whether a 34 year old will come back from this is debatable. I wish him all the best, he's my type of playerSounds like he’s a lucky fella. No mention of any surgery in that West Ham post which says he’s stable and awake, which could point to him avoiding serious injury.
Ahh right, that makes more sense!I would guess that was £20k/month
