Glad we never signed him this place would have been unbearable if he was under investigation while playing for us

I understand gambling for people hoping they strike rich but can't understand it for players making the money they are and still taking these risks

'He will be banned & he will come back.
But he never gets a better move. Probably rot in this westham side forever
If found guilty, he'll be banned for years. Career will be over I bet, plus he'll have to deal with the legal ramifications

WOW
Strangely this has cheered me up after a really tough night.
What a fool (if proven guilty) and he'll be a huge loss for W Ham if/ when he's banned

One would assume this is arguably worse than Toney situation, don’t believe Toney bet on any games he played in?
Him seemingly getting people to bet on him getting booked and actually doing it is much more serious imo.

what happened to the Xhaka investigation is what I want to know. That sounded similar but has gone very quiet.

Gambling companies are very savvy about this. They hate losing money, and they will come at you hard if they suspect anything.
