Biggest challenge for the next man will be moving on the over priced, over paid shite they have accumulated over the last 2-3 years. To be honest we’re are not in a dissimilar position albeit wages are less of an issue.

Their rebuild is a far bigger and costlier project than ours,although our re-build did begin in 1962!

Think it’s more likely that with the rest of the team Utd assembled (eg Wilcox) and the inevitable politics that will arise between Radcliffe and the Glazers, Ashworth just doesn’t have the desired level of control to do his job. Wouldn’t be shocked if Ashworth isn’t replaced and they just tweak the structure to fill his role with those people already in place.
