INEOS are clowns :ROFLMAO:

Could have let him go in the summer for free when they were chasing any manager who would speak to them.

Now Ten Hag is £15m richer LMAO

Howe would be a good bet, what with Ashworth already there and their previous working relationship. Will Ratcliffe want to pay the buy out for him though?

Ashworth and Howe didn't get on apparently, so can't see it being him.

Xavi would be the obvious choice considering Berrada has reportedly met him & his agent a few times recently.

Seems an odd time to do this, but then they are an odd club these days.

Did someone have a temper tantrum and sack him before having a replacement lined up? They've surely been sounding out prospective replacements for a while.

But but but haven't they seen how well he's been doing to get draws in Europa

If Utd were smart they'd go for Amorim who's system would suit Utd's current personnel pretty well going 3 at the back.

Frank would be an interesting move as well but I can see a world whereby Eddie Howe goes there.
100%

What he's achieved at Sporting (A big club without success for years and a mess off the field) is remarkable.

He would tap into their younger squad and get an effective shape.

Hopefully they swerve and go for Xavi or Van Nistelrooy shows something and they do what they did with Solskjaer

He was a dead man walking the moment the owners couldn't find anyone in the summer and had to stick with him. They never wanted him, they were stuck with him until whoever became available or it became untenable with the performances and results.

Not surprised, I remember when they hired him he was really short with the media or something like that and at that point I thought he doesn't look like he is going to fit at UTD.

I’m not surprised, but it seems like a pointless sacking at this juncture. The timing is a mess.

Every man and his dog knew Ten Hag wasn’t up to it but there was a sense in keeping him until the contracts of some of these deadwood players had ran down a bit more imo.

It’s a much bigger rebuild job than Ange had here.

I think they’ll go for Iraola
