Yeah, I know; but I can still dream...
Oooh, I like that idea!I’m hoping for like a 20 point deduction in 2 years. They’ll end up staying up but they’ll miss CL for a 3rd year
Assuming the appeal fails, yes. However, the final appeal decision probably won't be until July, so whoever finishes 5th won't know whether they're in the CL or EL immediately.I’m sure it’s been written elsewhere, but I’m imagining 5th spot is now a champions league spot?
Their team needs new blood as well. A new striker, new CDs, a left back and someone to replace David Silva. That will be a lot of money. This all relates to previous seasons doesn't it? This season they've had another net spend of around £90m. I know theres more to this than just transfer spending, but that's really not going to help them get out of this mess.
All we need now is for Liverpool, Leicester, Chelsea, Sheffield United, United and maybe even Wolves to suffer the same fate...
Champions!!!

Well, they have been in Championship or League One for the last 12 years so smashing their transfer record X number of times after promotion isn't a huge surprise, is it? Their highest fee paid is still in the £20m region for Berge so they haven't exactly started paying Abu Dhabi fees or wages. Whether they are toeing or breaking the FFP regulations we'll find out when the accounts are published for this season and next.Funny thing about that is, Leicester, Chelsea, Sheffield United and Wolves toe the line of spending more than you make. Leicester with their mammoth transfer fees in (Kante, Drinkwater, Mahrez, Maguire etc) are only just braking even these days. When they won the league, they were financially doped to the hills, their behaviour since however has softened that with £200m made on those four I highlighted.
Sheffield United are owned by Prince Abdullah. Smashed their transfer record five times in the space of 6-7 months I believe.
The laughing at RAWK probably stopped after realising the advantage MC will have in the PL for next 2 years.
