As much as I want to laugh at City's downfall, that just isn't right. What's happened to Pep?

From what I can tell, it all happened post match in the changing room. He must have seriously lost it. I've never seen a manager do anything like that to themselves.

Not winning a game after being up 3 goals with 15 minutes left. It's like we transferred part of our club's very soul into them in that first cup match and then finished the job last Sunday.

Couldn't happen to a nicer bunch of pricks. Fucking hate that club more than any other, more than that lot down the road.
I know I'll get slaughtered for this but given the cheating that has gone on and how they are continuing to try to destroy the PL I would prefer any other team to win the league than them. As much as I hate the other lot and pool, least they have done things the right way and in pools case show what can be done by being brave and backing a manager and how far that can take you.
Not a hope in hell i'd have the nomads win a league title over the Asterix mob from Manchester.

Spursy Potter and the Oil State Prince.
Honestly, you hear a lot of guff from clubs about honouring their heritage etc so it's nice to see a club, and a big hitter presently at that, actually doing just that for once.

I can only imagine the warm fuzzies their fans are experiencing during this walk down memory lane of the before times.

And that's fair mate. It's easier being removed from the rivalry when not living in London. I fucking hate them lot but how they have put themselves into a position to be able to challenge the past few seasons is admirable. Compare that to city and the cheating they have done and now trying desperately to bring down the league with their legal cases because they can't believe the league is actually trying to punish them for their cheating.

Overall for football it's much better than a club other than city wins the league. And I said it, I know not everyone will agree and that's fair enough but that's genuinely what I believe

I just cannot stomach the scum in any shape or form, everything about them is contrived they are all over social media taking credit for City's downfall...what because you robbed a draw with the biggest bus park in history?

i'm genuinely disgusted when they win a throw in never mind a title.

then again as always each to their own.

I reckon Peps had a punch up with someone as the scratches on the head look like self harm but what about his lip and nose?

Just seen that Noel Gallagher called us frauds and thinks we will get stuffed by Fulham. He might be right about losing to Fulham but he's such a complete tw@t in every regard

Maybe some of the owners were there and reminded him of how they treat crimes back home!

There's something going on behind the proverbial scenes here, there has to be. Pep has rebuilt before, replacing older players and continuing to achieve results, but they are usually already coming up through the team by the time the players that are ageing out need replacing consistently. He's a brilliant motivator, manages his squad well as human beings but looking at his face and the way the players are so demotivated, it just feels like there's been a change in atmosphere or something. Nobody looks half as motivated or keen, where you'd see players getting fired up for conceding weak goals, now they just seem to be resigned to it, something has changed at the club.

Pretty scary this

Have to say if Pep is doing this to himself after a few Man City losses he definitely wouldn’t be able to cope managing us!

Bloke I know who used to be involved in such things said that NG fancied himself as a football hooligan before he became famous and came badly unstuck against some like-minded Spurs chaps. He has held a very obvious grudge against us ever since.

As soon as I heard him say something about wanting to harm himself, I was sure his and City's PR people would go into overdrive to address it:

A good statement that. Pep obviously meant it as a coping mechanism for this run of poor results.

Not really something for a PL manager to be joking about. Should be up for a charge for those comments.
No mate, he didn't mean anything by it other than he inflicted the damage himself.
It was off the cuff and in his second language so while it may seem insensitive and thoughtless, that's all it was.

To be honest, the main reaction seemed to be more of concern for him and his wellbeing, rather than anyone taking offense and being outraged.

We can't go around charging people for everything and anything, that's ridiculous.

It's all very well that Guardiola needs to rebuild. But who's going to rebuild Guardiola before he can do it?
