I wonder if they had recruitment issues with potential players wanting release clauses if they get points deducted/relegated/kicked out the football league.
Yeah I did wonder that too. It would be a weird decision to not recruit and they shouldn’t ordinarily have trouble recruiting.

Arriving in Lisbon tonight. Probably flying over the stadium while the match is on. Not watching that shit.

Shame you didn't get to watch it.

Such a shame this result for city, never like to see such a likeable club lose 3 games in a week ......:)

Think it's the end of Pep at City.

I can't see him staying on and having the energy to do so.
He's won everything, his mate Txiki has gone
Doesn't feel like City can spend the way they have before.
De Bruyne, Bernardo will be off soon.

Amorim, Slot, Alocnso - all these new breed of coaches coming through.
Football will probably evolve slightly.

All that combined with the 115 charges, I can see Pep announcing his exit at the end of the season

Think that is right. He has done it all there and now a complete rebuild is needed. Doubt he has the energy for that even if they somehow avoid points deductions etc .

Yeah I can see him leaving at the end of the season.

Reckon they'll still win the league though, he'll figure something out to get them going again.

Think klopp leaving pool is a big factor too for him too, they pushed each other, it doesn't seem like pep has the same interest like he normally does.

I did get to spend the day in a meeting with some happy Sporting Lisbon fans. I told them beating City wasn’t that hard, we do it all the time after all.

Interesting to see Pep bemused at Grealish being called up by England whilst Grealish has just rejoined training and won’t feature for City this weekend.

Grealish is leaving for the national team in a manner that would have Spurs fans fuming if this were Romero…

I think we saw this a few times with Lo Celso... barely fit for us but would recover just enough to get called up for Argentina.

England>City for Grealish. Maybe he doesn't feel loved there?

I'll be glad to see the back of Pep. Loved him as a coach when he was in Germany and Spain but jumping in to bed with City and all they represent just lowered him in my estimations. Not that he'd give a shit about that :ROFLMAO:

To be fair, I’m fuming every time he joins up with England.
