I'd still be very surprised if ETH isn't moved on but no announcement yet has me wondering.

I actually meant when Pool play Bayern in the CL next season ;)

Kidding but yeah I expect he'll be sacked after the FA cup final

Honesly I'm surprised they let him back on the coach after the Brighton game, I was sure he'd be a goner as soon as the curtain came down on the season.

Interesting send of comments from Jurgen in relation to the City Charges and Chelsea.

“Can you imagine LFC as the club with unlimited money?” said Klopp. “Imagine Kylian Mbappé came here. Imagine Bellingham came here, Haaland. It is not us, it just does not fit. We won what we won and we did it the Liverpool way.
When purchased, Liverpool paid world record fees for Van Dyke and Allison...who were absolutely pivotal to getting Liverpool to actually win things. He makes it sound like he did it all on a shoestring. Prick.

Unfortunately thats what it takes to win things in this country. There's no shame in it, and its part of why we will always fall short, its that final (financial) push that makes the difference.

North Korea and Russia can only dream of having a propaganda machine as good as "der famous red men." How they still peddle the nonsense about not spending money when their wage bill is more than the other 14 premier league clubs combined is quite frankly laughable. Im so glad the hes gone, everyones best mate when they were winning but as soon as something doesnt go his way the mask well and truly slips. Cant stand the bloke.

It's funny cause City don't by Mbappe, Bellingham and the like.

They did sign Haaland hut he cost less than Darwin 🤣

Its completely inaccurate but Liverpool fans will lap it up

I don’t think it’s inaccurate to say that City have spent more than Liverpool over the duration of Klopp’s tenure. As others have pointed out the headline figure for Haaland is nothing compared to the wages and agent fees. £100 million on Grealish, £80 million on Gvardiol. City pay huge fees when they want to.

It’s also worth pointing out that Alisson and VVD were both largely paid for by selling Coutinho for nigh on £150 million. Nunez has been an expensive flop, that’s a fair assessment. But they’ve definitely been blown out of the water financially by City, Chelsea, and probably Arsenal too in more recent years.

Seeing as Liverpool fans like to position their club as bastions of all that is good about football, and oppose much that we consider to be wrong with modern football, are their fans going to say much about their chairman’s comments about wanting EPL games to take place all over the world?
