Going from social media posts of people I'm friendly with, I'll thought the bugger had died overnight!!

Tbf if we had a manager that won what he has we'd probably feel the same way.

Imo he's probably the 2nd best manager in the world and has been for the last 10 years, just unfortunate for him that he's mostly up against one of the best of all time with more resources.

When you say resources, you mean he was up against oil Wells and the best manager in the world

You could also argue with Tottenham and Arsenal be it wasn’t for money include Arsenal because they’ve got royally shafted like us by city and Chelsea having money

I forget about that match now and then, and then I randomly get little reminders of it that I enjoy

The reminder of how Klopp went full mask-off Trump-alike lunatic afterwards (with his replay demands) was a great antidote to the canonisation he's received today.

Really interested to see how they do post Klopp. Going to be weird not seeing him in the Liverpool dugout if I'm honest.

Fully expect Slot to embrace scouse culture and rock up after summer with a full head of Turkey’s finest and teeth like Jerry Seinfeld

Had one on Facebook saying ‘I’m not crying, you’re crying’.

To which I replied ‘I’m not crying’.

Klopp is a bellend. All good when things were going his way, which was often, and quite a nasty edge to him when they weren’t. Won’t be missed.

Klopp descended into full self-parody quite quickly. When I saw him celebrating a Real Madrid disallowed goal as if they had scored themselves is when I realised he'd gone full Roy Keane - playing a version of himself to the gallery.

Would love to have a manager win virtually everything possible like Klopp did. I know it's easy to hate on him and them, but they did compete consistently and play some decent stuff along the way. The Salah, Mane, Firmino front three were deadly. He got the best out of Milner and Henderson. Developed Trent, and has a few coming along like Quansah. Maybe it is on over the top reaction to him leaving by some, but he also does deserve respect for the job he did.
