Not a laughing matter this post. A Cambridge Utd fan died today, 5 years after being attacked at Southend. I had heard of the story but didn't know much so googled it. All of the sites reporting it stated that he was a Cambridge fan who travelled home and away but the Liverpool Echo said he was a lifelong Liverpool fan. Why does it always have to turn into a scouse thing with that lot? RIP Simon Dobbin.

Fabinho injured now, they’ve gone from last season when very lucky with injuries to having terrible luck this season.

And their centre back options are a bit limited as they only had three senior centre backs going into season, which is shocking really, and Matip has also had a long-term injury and they’re not sure when he’s going to be fit.

Might give one of their youth players a good opportunity but for defending champions it’s quite poor squad management that they are so short at centre back.

I wouldn't mind a few games where Salah and Mane are out. Nothing horrible but simply 'a knock on international duty' or something like that so they feel like any normal team would over the course of a season. That said, they've got some good back-ups and fair play for getting in the likes of Jota for cover.

But it's like when Kane is out, it's not quite the same.

I’ve never understood the urge to send a death threat to a celebrity. It’s pretty pathetic really, I mean even the people I really loathe, I can‘t imagine being arsed to even write them to tell them I think their a twat, least of all threaten harm on them.

Those scum send death threats to their own players for wanting to leave, so it's not that surprising Pickford is being targeted.

It's about time they ran out of luck. Long may it continue.
