They're making a massive statement and are going to take advantage of the COVID crisis to flex their financial clout to effectively put us, Arsenal and any other top 4 pretender firmly back in our places.

I'm sure there may be some FFP implications down the line they will have to overcome by hook or by crook, but how refreshing to see a club massively back an unproven manager in the market with a squad rebuild.

Defense is still pretty crap but they might be able to score enough goals that it doesn't matter.

The only way Havertz happens is if they get rid of a lot of players. You forgot Giroud and Bats for starters, Loftus Cheek!

And yet if you were to venture into Spurs Chat you'd see some claiming our front is superior to Chelsea's.

Completely agree, the team is not the Poch team from 2 years ago, despite having plenty of the same players. Their WF, DM and defence are far superior to ours.

That is something that Chelsea fans keep saying but of course they made Kovacic permanent, so that's 40/50m done.

Story out there already that if Hammers stay up Barkley goes there. No future whatsoever for Batshuai now, Giroud goes after next season.

Chelsea were never a mess. Our ITK told us about Chelsea to appease us. Nothing more than that. Even I think the running of their club is much more better than spurs. Specially, look at the youths they are producing. Among top 6 clubs, utd and spurs are worst running footballing side I think
