Good for them, quality player.

Chelsea haven't done too badly out of this ban tbh, there squad looks refreshed with a fee new faces.

Ironically this ban may well end up helping them long term. This season might be a bit shit until they get a proper manager in, but the ban is forcing them to finally do what everyone has been saying they need to i.e. blood some of their young players. If they can give them plenty of playing time together now, then when they get a proper manager in they might have the foundations of a very good young and HG team already in place

Skysports reporting:

Former Chelsea goalkeeper Carlo Cudicini has a new role at the club, being named their loan player technical coach - your guess is as good as ours what that means in practice.

Cudicini previously worked under Antonio Conte and Maurizio Sarri as part of their coaching staff.

My guess is that he's a bit like people that do inductions. Can show all of those players they signed ten years ago the ground, the training facilities, can dust and then show them their personal lockers. Better late than never

Tammy Abraham racially abused on social media after missing penalty last night - by Chelsea fans.
What a surprise...

Chelsea should start with the same side as against Liverpool. Far much better side than against Man Utd.

A midfield three of Kante, Jorginho and Kovacic just does not work though, they've proved that over a whole season. They need a more creative presence in there.

I'd be quite happy if that XI started the majority of their games, it's inferior to all the rest of the top six.

chelsea was there for the taking last night. after the first 20mins of constant blitz attacking, the chelsea team just died out.

hope they remain this way.

They may struggle this year without an established striker. I'd be worried having Abrahams and Giroud as my two striking options.

I can’t see them performing consistently enough to challenge.

The manager will need time but they rarely get it.
