Barca didn't play well at all, Messi apart, but the russian mafia were hopeless. Poor passing, no passion, running down blind alleys.....horrible horrible horrible. Hazzard in particulsr was absolutely useless as was their pathetic goalie. Perhaps the only one to come away with any credit would be Willian

Yep, they'll all be Man City fans before long.
I hope something comes of this Russia thing although I doubt it will tbh.

We can't possibly say anything nasty about Russia now having told the rest of Europe to fuck off. Especially while the Tories are pocketing huge donations from Russian oligarchs. The front of Theresa May is pathetic. "We're going to be REALLY tough with Russia!" [sends a few diplomats home]

Cant see how Chelsea can get back to where they were. United and City have so much more cash.

Coutois hazard and Willian want out. They need a decent striker, and will have to replace those 3.
Theyve been relegated to the Spurs, Liverpool Arsenal group

Last week it was all about how Spurs bottled it.

This morning the back page of the Irish Mirror has it down all about the "brave blues".

Mind you brave is normally the term they use for plucky non league clubs who get to the 3rd round of the FA Cup. Probably about right then

What was the Irish Mirrors headline after we lost to Juve?

The only place I saw 'legends' was from cretins on twitter.

Agreed, we were largely praised by the media for our performances against Juve aside from the usual trolls (Twitter,Talksport etc).

If anything the way Chelsea and Utd have gone out has proved how well we did to have "thrown away" a win against one of the best sides in the competition.

The average wage in russia is 4 times as much as it was in 2008 (almost 10 times as much as in 2000). Yes he is a bastard but life for the average russian is much better than it was before he took charge. Our great leaders were going to arm isis against syria.
He is a bastard and has an iron grip on the country. But he is better for the russians than what they had before.

Assad actually released a load of rebel fighters from jail in the full knowledge that they would join ISIS through lack of choice. By doing so, he ensured that the West couldn't support the Rebels with their ISIS connection. Putin jumped into the vacuum which had been created with his sole aim being to establish a foothold in the Middle East and secure oil.

No idea. Saw on one bsck page "Juve thrown it away" though.

Maybe bottled it was the wrong phrase to use
Yeah a bit wrong, we did throw it away if we're being brutally honest mate.
I suppose the praise for Chelsea is a bit much, didn't do enough at home and blown away last night, not sure what's so brave about that.
