Regardless of the ethics and morals of what and how they do it, they are addressing the areas they need. Toney could be a brilliant signing for them
I mean they’re signing dozens of players in all positions, so that goes without saying really.

What would be good is if all clubs, particularly Premier League, didn't buy a single player from Chelsea. This would prevent them from culling their bloated squad and therefore wage bill. Would significantly screw over their finances if they are not fooked already.
Which is why I didn't ant us to sign Gallagher. You are essentially helping them from keeping the bailiffs away for a player that is not special enough to do that.

They created their own problem, let them drown in it.

They're trying to sell one of their youth prospects to Saudi now. 🙈🤑

This will be really damaging for them if they push it.

Gallagher - lifelong Chelsea fan and academy player "Get out of the club or you rot in the reserves."
Chalobah - Chelsea academy graduate and reliable player "Find another club.
Vale - Chelsea prospect and academy graduate "We are selling you to Saudi, even if it's not for the best of your career"

Agents and kids' parents will start to really question going to Chelsea which may have a knock on effect for years.

It really is a good idea. I don't know why the other clubs wouldn't want to see them crash and burn, the way they are going about matters.
I’ve said it before but in hindsight when you then have a number of clubs that are American owned and who are all struggling with PSR then it won’t work,, it needs every club to be on board and the likes of Villa most certainly wouldn’t entertain it.

It's a two way responsibility, the player to the club and the club to the player. Finding out what is the best next move for the player and helping them achieve that.

Even taking care of ex players, giving them the opportunity to train and look for a new club if they are a free agent. Even after they retire, there should be an opportunity for them to further their careers in coaching.

Something we're actually quite good at. Welcoming back ex players as well, functions and ceremonies etc...

I remember Redknapp talking about how West Ham kicked Bobby Moore out of the stadium.

Chelsea have taken this route to the extreme, clubs are (should be) about community. They are just treating them as furniture.

What Chlesea are doing is making a mockery of our game.

Vale to Arabia would be a joke. I can understand a player going over there after a long career and picking up some retirement money, but for a youngster, and a promising one (if I remember rightly) it's a horrific move.

I'm starting to understand why Chelsea have removed most of their backroom staff and replaced them, the old staff actually cared about the players, they can't have that!

They've found an owner worse than Abramovic, than in itself is a spectacular achievement .

"Enzo Maresca on Sterling, Chalobah and the others: “All the players who in this moment are training apart will NOT get any minutes in case they stay”. “My advice to Sterling? He knows exactly what he has to do”.

He’s clearly under instruction. Like it or not, they’re being ruthless and clearing the decks. They’ll have a smaller, settled squad soon and I think they’ll be in the mix for top 4.

They were always going to have to cap the squad size based on how many they are allowed register, but unless they find buyers for those unwanted players this is only going to hurt them further in PSR terms.

4th August: "The position for Raheem is a winger, in the way he was in these games. I don't see him in another position. For sure, he is one of our important players."

Used him in loads of pre-season games too. What changed?

I still think they’ll manage to get lucky and shift most of them.

would love it if they didn’t but they just have a knack of landing on their feet.

They have two days to do the massive reduction in staff they need to do. Don't think other than a few outs they will achieve what is needed.
