It can surely only be a matter of time before they scout one of their own players who they bought a couple of years ago then loaned to a random Belgian club. They will sell him for over 25M in a couple of years.
To themselves probably.
You laugh, but that had already happened to a PL club. Of course the man who made the error undoubtedly had signs of early onset dementia, even though we didn't know at the time.It can surely only be a matter of time before they scout one of their own players who they bought a couple of years ago then loaned to a random Belgian club.

I don’t think it will until clubs just refuse to buy players off them, there’s only so many over inflated players that they can flog to other US owners or clubs skirting around the financial regulationsI really can't wait for this house of cards to come crashing down around their ears.
Or youngsters and their families start to realise that it's a terrible career choice and they're just going to waste their career, ending up as some kind of money shuffling pawn.I don’t think it will until clubs just refuse to buy players off them, there’s only so many over inflated players that they can flog to other US owners or clubs skirting around the financial regulations
I think someone posted the other day one of the Chelsea academy kids was on £20k a week.Or youngsters and their families start to realise that it's a terrible career choice and they're just going to waste their career, ending up as some kind of money shuffling pawn.
It may take a while but surely what they're doing can't be a sustainable model?

So in that scenario who has and owns his registration papers?Probably signed by the parent company and registered to Strasbourg so actually nothing to do with the chavs. Much like how the city group operate.
The tweet says that Chelsea will loan him to Strasbourg, so sounds like Chelsea own the player. So in that scenario who has and owns his registration papers?

If my 15 year old got offered a five year contract on £15k a week I don’t think I could tell him not to take it, he’s set for life just to stay on their books for five years.
Salary caps and limits to bonuses/signing on fees for academy age groups would make sense until they make the first team squad.

Much like the club trained/home grown rule, I can't get my head around it. A quick scan suggests there are some limits, but again it depends on whether the player is under or over 21, HG, foreign, length of time with a club as to whether they are included. How many loans can a parent club make to one club?
It's either a completely different arrangement than most multi-club ownerships (ie City still have to buy players, in theory, from other City group clubs) or Boehly has asked the press to always mention Chelsea for PR reasons...
All a little odd nevertheless.
