At least Chelsea can't sell the freehold of their pitch, just wonder what creative accounting idea they will come up with next.

If it hasn’t got a ‘flying freehold’ then they might think about putting a pitch on top/over the original pitch ?

Like ours but in reverse.

See this is why I can't see them falling away.

They always find a loophole. Did it with the young players and loaning them out etc.

They don't get the punishments deserved. For example, when they were found guilty a few years back, they knew it was coming so signed loads of players to cover it (Pulisic in advance) then it got reduced anyway.

Abramovich leaving and having that 1 billion owed should have put them in a bad place, but the government went out the way to protect them.

They will keep ignoring the rules and they will keep finding ways out of it.

I dont think they ignore the rules, they just work within the boundaries, but not necessarily in the spirit. In F1 this is considered genius.

I don't think it's unfair to say that Chelsea are part football club, part player trading company.

I think it is unfair

They're a player trading company who does a bit of football club stuff on the side.
In three years time we'll still be talking about how Chelsea are sailing close to the wind on PSR and they'll just sell five players who've never played a game for them for £120m and crack on.

Weirdly worded. They don't normally say City have signed someone when one of their leser offshoots signs someone, do they? Either way, we're in ridiculous territory...
Yeh I'm not sure I understand what football clubs are anymore. It's bewildering. I'm really uneasy with the multi-club structures.

Good way to avoid PSR, buy through a different fucking club… and then what, they gift wrap and send him over as Christmas present…

Players agent set to travel for ‘final payment’. Into his bank account, nice work if you can get it.
Are they still linked with Duran Duran at villa though at £40 odd mill?
Football finance management is an absolute joke when you look at some of the clubs, especially in Europe.
Joke of it I can see Barca going pop before Chelsea at this rate
