If Boehly wants a young, hungry, patsy coach who does what he wants with the young players they already have, and to have no say in transfers...and they then appoint Tuchel ...不不不不不

Now it's Spursonal

Sounds like they want someone that will do as they are told, and not ask questions about which players will be sold or bought. Eg Gallagher.

I suspect Poch refused to be a yes man for them. Just like Tuchel did originally.
I can almost guarantee that they will make sure to sell off all their homegrown talent before bringing in a new manager.

Saves them the issue of having to explain that to the new manager.

Well I'm pleased, I never liked having Poch at Chelsea, and I reckon he would have really kicked on next season. Now he can go to another league hopefully, where I can once again wish him well.

It also means Gallagher will be sold, although I'm not entirely convinced he is the best way to spend that money.

Typical American sports ownership mentality, were the owners, youre just the hired hand so do your job and STFU! Boehly has zero clue how the premier league, and football as a WORLDWIDE sport works, he even wanted a North v South competition, fucking moron!

Much different to the previous dodgy Russian ownership!

The simple truth.

Chelsea will have real problems if they sell their home grown such as Gallagher. They need to keep their home grown and bring in a couple of talented but very experienced players. I don't believe that is what will happen.

"We'd like a young manager that's full of ideas (but will have no say in transfers) to bring a new era for Chelsea (using the players we've already got)."

What a sales pitch. Hey, you know the players you'd want to build a team around - that the fans love and relate to? Gallagher, for instance? Yeah, he's got to go. We've got a lot of fast wingers, two really expensive CMs that can't play together and a striker with dreadful finishing. Can you make them into 2011 Barca? If you can't, it's fine, the players know you'll be the one sacked because the spreadsheets tell us we've got to keep Mudryk for seven more years and so they know they can just wait you out and try the next schmoe.

Glorious. They're fucked.

Non-dynamic managers need not apply.

What I'm getting from this is they don't have a clue. Bayern can't get the manager they want and they're more appealing than Chelsea right now - so are Juve, Milan, and Barca. They'll be looking in the same pool as West Ham, Brighton, and Napoli. And they're *just* starting their search. Perfect.

Seems a weird one. They had a pretty catastrophic injury list all season and even then he started to get them to click. Maybe poch wanted out too as they are going to sell Gallagher etc? Maybe he had no control over transfers, maybe Bayern came knocking?

Chelsea fan on talksport suggested they should go for Allardyce
Heard that and thought it was probably someone on a wind-up. The caller sounded faintly scouse!

Theres also been a Spurs fan call in to say we should bring pack Poch to replace Ange. For goodness sake I thought we were beyond all of that.

I'll be honest I think this one was much more of a mutual decision than these things usually are. I think Poch has said "I have to have ABC to make this work" and Clearlake have said "our long term strategy is we will be doing XYZ and you need to make that work". I believe this is just the case that the irresistible force has met the immovable object and both parties knew it was never going to be how they need things to be.
