What if FA Cup winners got a Champions League spot, over 4th place?

I do think the idea has merit, but the spot in the Europa is probably enough. There is a lot to be said for entry into a cup competition being via winning another cup competition. Cup competitions reward teams which can peak and raise their game, even if it is often at the expense of consistency. Perhaps it would help to have the PL clubs enter the FA Cup at an earlier stage, in the first part of the season.

If the Cup Winners did get a CL place, it would probably make it harder for Millwall to win because everyone else would be taking it more seriously....
