Meh, Steffen wasn't really part of the old guard. He had nothing to do with the Harry regime and it seemed like he wasn't much of a part of AVB's camp. If Levy or Poch didn't want him around he'd be gone already.

Levy likes an ex-Spurs player as assistant. AVB did not ask for Freund but Levy forced him on him; did the same with Poyet and Ramos. I suspect Poch was told Freund came with the job.

I wonder with both of them join Sherwood in his next job... Or maybe QPR is recuriting? Lol

All the best to them. Hopefully this will mean a few replacement coaches have been lined up - certainly at least a development coach. The delay between Sherwood's departure and theirs suggests Poch either wanted time to evaluate if he could work with them, or that he hadn't identified/secured his own people for the roles at that point.
