I said before now the window is closed Eriksen needs to be careful, he could find himself on the bench a few times this season, he can't afford to down tools because he has to impress his new employers and he needs to be fit for the Euro's.

He's probably gone for a brain scan to see if they can find out why instead of hoofing the ball away from the area he played the ball to Eriksenwho was immediately tackled , lost the ball and that led to the penalty.

He needs to be fit for the Euros but the Denmark team is so entirely built around him that only serious injury will keep him from playing for them, regardless of how much he plays for us.

Ndombele will play a bit more advanced with Winks and Sissoko lying deep, so I think that’s who our forward passes will come from. Not the world of creativity but it’s enough.

Sigh. Three central midfielders. I hope it works, but it has never looked good. So I'm skeptical. Not much creativity in this eleven. Why not a 4-2-3-1 with Lamela behind Kane and Son and Lucas on the wings? It's not like Lucas can be tired from the Olympiakos game.
