Semedo could be the other Portuguese mentioned by ITK.
Keep Foyth as RB option, could tie in with Mourinho’s comments about ‘defend as a back four, attack as a back three’, but with Foyth tucking in from RB and Sessegnon attacking, rather than Davies/Jan tucking in and Aurier attacking.
Then Piatek joins as a focal in the box target (whilst not the biggest, his youtube reel does show a decent amount of headed goals).

It’ll be the LB tucking in not the RB and Foyth will be going on Loan, he’s a CB not a RB, well Jose sees him that way at least.p

Michael Cox: Piatek is a true penalty-box prowler – and that could make him Tottenham’s perfect plan B

It’s a worrying article if we really are getting him. A good read but quite a few photos in it relevant to the article so not much point posting it in full. The summarising quote is this:

“All interested parties need to be aware of Piatek’s style, however — this isn’t a striker who contributes to build-up play, but someone who concentrates solely on providing the finishing touch. At Europe’s biggest clubs, that’s usually only enough for a role as a supersub.”

Yeah that paints him better as the type of backup striker to buy when Harry is flying, not when he is out for 3 months.

I do think there are some merits in this signing still. If he can succeed in occupying CBs that should give space to the secondary attackers in behind, and if Aurier keeps playing advanced he should have a fair few crosses to attack. I don't think we'll be able to get away with him and Moura in the same team however (as that would be two players who hardly assist), we'd probably need a Lo Celso or Bruno in AM to try and provide him with service, like Eriksen used to.

I’d sign him if he’s any good. Seems to be the best bet out there available this window and we desperately need another striker. Not surprised we only fancy a loan though.

NotUrAvgElliot the plane tracker guy really seems to know his stuff. Maybe we should try and poach him and get him on here, or at least do the ground work for a move in the summer.

Best to get an 18month loan with an option

Has anyone said why it’s likely he’s on there, I imagine private planes from Milan to London aren’t uncommon
Correct and without actually being involved with the charter, it's absolutely impossible to know who was on board. I can't give GDPR away, but it wasn't him. Sorry lads.
