Props to KPB and the rest of the Milan team.

I still regret us selling KPB to be honest. Good player.

Finally it's happened. Good on KPB. It's a disgrace that it is still happening at football games. Please the next time it happens in a game that means something can the players fine the courage to do this. I'd support Spurs players if they walked off after being abused like that. I'd be so proud of the club.

But SSN had to interview Peter Herbert for his views making something commendable, KPB's walk off, seem dirty.

Oh yeah, never noticed that before

It's actually one of the Spurs training tops so its alright ;)

That and the fact that you've merged Bale's face with Voldemort's. The day that happens he can sign for City for all i care ;)

He's developed into a good player but I really don't think he would've if we hadn't sold him. His attitude only improved after he'd left us.

But I definitely wouldn't be against bringing him back now.

Good on him and the rest of the team, I doubt they would do it in a competitive match though. But this may actually have people start thinking now.

Platini said that any player walking off would be carded . Fine but where is the protection that the officials are meant to be providing? Why have a Kick Racism Out campaign and dish out the smallest fines for breaches but huge fines for other issues. UEFA, FIFA and the FA are total fuckwits, piss pot jokes and all need sacking.

Respect to KPB & the AC Milan team

The issue I have with players walking off is that it gives a small minority the power to stop games.
Don't like how a match is going or worse, gambling reasons... Target players with racist chanting.

Might not happen so much in the UK, but other eastern or Southern European countries might see more of this happening.

I prefer Seedorf's response, chuck the whole wing or area out of the stadium where the abuse is reported and carry on playing. You need to get the idiots out of the stadium and shown that they cannot derail a game of football with their idiocy. The moment they only hurt themselves they will leave.

Plus can you imagine being identified as the cause and being chucked out of the stadium with a few hundred or thousand actual fans!?

EDIT: respect to KPB for doing it by the way, I just have cause for concern about the actions we should take against racism and ensuring the right people are paying for their stupidity

Well done to the AC Milan lads, it absolutely clear that UEFA and the respective governing bodies refuse to do anything real to stamp out racism, so lets hope these lads set the trend for the rest of Europe.

Maybe it will make Platini treat this like the real problem it is.

But Uefa aren't doing that are they? They are not doing shit, same old shit fines, blah blah refs have the power to stop the game. So if they are not going to do anything, then players must take matters into their own hands.

No, the stadium and officials should take the stance. Stop the match eject the fans, resume.
UEFA aren't going to do feck all about it anyway, for them the issue is one to be swept under the carpet.

He was rubbish for us! How can you say that? One of the worst I've ever seen at the lane.

I have seen him since at Milan and its true he is a different player but mein gott man how you can regret he left us baffles me.

Also in regard to his stance, as admirable as it may seem now it sets a dangerous precedent. What if a team are losing 2 nil with 30 mins to go in a CL game they must win and a player decides he has heard a racist chant and walks off with his team. What happens then?

Its good that he did this in a friendly and started the ball rolling but at the end of the day racist abuse is a criminal act in most if not all UEFA countries so it is down to the police to act. If they dont then UEFA should sanction the team.

Players are paid to play football. Thats all. They constantly say they should not be role models so leave this to the authorities.

Hopefully if the players walk off the crowd will police it's self. I'd be pretty fucked off if a game I was at got abandoned cos of some dickheads and I'd know exactly who to vent my anger at

He never got a run in the team in his best position and there was plenty of people who seen his potential when he was at Tottenham. The guy could've been quality here too he just wasn't handled right. Without a doubt he'd be an asset right now if we'd not sold him. We were abit of a shambles off the pitch when he was here but we've since settled things down. The Berbatov, Jol and Keane sagas fucked up the squad harmony bigtime among other things. I'd imagine AVB would handle things far better, even the transition from Harry as been seemingly a minor blip on our path to premier league domination lol.

But when the authorities aren't doing anything then it is up to decent people to take a stance.

Massive respect to KBP and I hope others start to do the same.

Bollocks.

Players are paid to play football, NOT to take racial abuse. No-one should have to put up with that kind of shit, no matter what they do, or how much they are paid.

That's not the point I was making. The problem when you start debating these issues is people are terrified being branded racist.

My point was what happens further down the line when a player uses this tactic to try and get a game abandoned.
