There is no way we sell to Chelsea because they happen to want him. I sometimes think we only bought him to fuck Chelsea over

Didn’t I read somewhere Llorente won’t be sold even if we are offered more than we paid for him, as he’s very popular amongst the squad?

Gotta say, whilst this likely to be a re-hash of the story from the summer, I do think this would be a smart signing.

Gameiro is quick and a good finisher and unlike either Kane or Llorente in style. If we could get him on a loan with an option to buy I think it would be a good addition.

Don’t seen any truth in this what so ever, would make no sense. I just hope that maybe we are in talks with Atletico over a different player and the press only got a whiff if the two clubs being in contact and put two and two together. More likely his agent trying to drum up interest though.

Antoine Griezmann for the summer?

I'm not sure I've ever seen Gameiro play - certainly I can't remember having done so. What style of player is he?

I remember seeing Gameiro play in the Toulon tournament a few years back and he looked decent but it was a very low standard of football if i'm being honest. Kevin-Prince Boateng also played in that tournament and looked an absolute world beater :cautious:.

The Times saying we have shown interest but he wants to stay at Athletico

Makes sense if Llorente was to go, he's behind Costa, Torres and Greizmann at Atletico so he'd a least get a bit more game time here.
