About €90m more than Levy’s spending this month too
I'd usually agree and still do I guess but just something about the pure fact that we've got Jose that makes me think Daniel can't fuck about with his manager anymore, otherwise shit is gonna get bad real quick. Always a possibility though.

Ok I have never seen this guy only by videos on YouTube like most of us. Is he really as good as your all making and have you actually seen the guy play? Is he better than both DS and TA? I like others don't see this position as a necessity but if we improve with what you guys are saying a world class cb I understand the want of doing it.

I would say Sol Campbell would be a good comparison & of a similar level.. there is better defenders positionally out there & he gets away with a lot of fouls in Italy that he wouldn't in England. Overall he's a real leader & physically imposing.

Can't see it happening, Would Spurs pay the circa. €120 ml Napoli want for January sale.. My opinion Pau Torress of Villareal would be a far better value signing

Koulibaly x Sanchez

Both strong, intimidating, fast (not so much KK but decent)
Forwards would look at them and think they're about to enter a nightmare
KK is world class
Sanchez is a good defender, although clumsy and has a mistake, KK would do a VVD and sweep up these mistakes. Other than that I think Sanchez is actually good. Better than Alderweireld and Vertonghen at this present moment.
This CB partnership would become immense after a fairly short amount of time, not to mention we got Jose coaching them.

Age is just a number but....I wish he were 25/26 and we were buying him rather than 28 and probably on downfall by end of any 4 year deal

Using a perceived lack of interest in a player as the barometer for how good they are is literally one of the most unintelligent things I’ve ever heard. Plenty of top clubs have been linked with him but there’s multiple reasons he hasn’t moved. It’s notoriously difficult to get players out of Napoli. Think Marek Hamsik, Edison Cavani, etc. Coupled with the fact he’s 28, seemingly loved the club before this season and has a £130m release clause, a move until now made no sense.

Kalidou Koulibaly is quite comfortably the second best CB in the world and, whilst you’re so adamant he isn’t, you’ve yet to actually say who is better than him?

It’s odd you say he’s so error prone when one of his strengths is his consistency. I read before that he’s not far off of Van Dijk in the number of times he’s been dribbled past over the course of last season.

I genuinely can’t believe you have the audacity to accuse others of hyperbole when you’re guilty of it yourself. I’ve seen you post on this site for a number of years and nobody comes close to you in the shite opinion stakes. Sorry pal.

Unintelligent? Bit of a laugh coming from you.

Did you bother reading the rest of my comments. I said he is error prone. I said he isn’t that fast. I’ll add that his judgement can be poor.

So what is his consistency based on? Your subjective opinion which means fuck all to me. So if I am accusing people of hyperbole then give me an argument based on facts to refute what I’ve said. Not more hyperbole FFS,

Anyone here who can prove he’s second best CB in the world? LOL.

He's 28 not 38 ffs. Barely entered his prime years as a footballer!

Except Toby is 30 and looks increasingly like his best years are behind him. And as for Jan, he looks like a busted flush. The downward slide comes quick, especially when you try chasing 20 year olds around the park for 90 mins.

So we are going to spend 80m quid on a CB entering his ‘prime years’? Twenty eight is closer to twenty nine then twenty seven.

Koulibaly is easily one of the best 5 defenders in the world in my opinion. He s a beast and fast for his stature. The reason he is still at napoli because their president wants very high prices for their best players. But this season there was some trouble between some players and their president so this may lower the price.

I watch a lot of italian football my friend. The fact that he is mourinho s no 1 target says it all. In your opinion who is your preferred option?
