His performance against Liverpool in the CL. He is similar to VVD in that his positioning and reading of the game is extremely good.

Playing style really reminds me of Davinson, tbh (although obviously much better) - rapid and hyper-physical with an aggressive counter press.
Would work well with Toby sweeping up but not sure how balanced a Sanchez/Koulibaly pairing would work.

To be fair I get that point as well.
I just think what SC means is that if we spend £60m on this guy, we won't have much left in the budget (guess) to address our real problems in the team, like CDM and RB.
Well i wasnt. It backstabbed Poch and he’s been on a downward trend since January that has rapidly sped up since August. Its abundantly clear Toby is finished at this level.2 weeks ago everyone was absolutely buzzing we tied him down to a contract now he should be in the MLS...
Center Back is also a real problem. We need 2 of them for sufficient cover if god forbid Sanchez goes down. 3 if we fail to resign Tanganga.

Not as big as other areas.
We have Toby, Jan, Sanchez, Foyth, Tanganga, Dier and even Davies.
I guess though that Jose doesn't trust our defense that much hence the interest in KK, personally i'd rather spend big on some quality fullbacks.

If we went big for him and did nothing else it would end up just like the Summer. Fixing a big high profile issue and leaving us with others that we didn’t address that will continue to bring the squad down. I’m all for Koulibaly, a player like Dias would make more sense to me, but we have to have budget for more than one player. That’s the only question mark regarding this one.
