Fair play for owning it, mate. Rule of thumb is, give plenty of leeway to youth. So much is unclear about their potential development, and that will continue until they're continually tried and tested at the top level. There are still unknowns re Skipp, but his progression and development is good to watch.

People were ridiculously harsh on him last season. It is clear that Poch sees something in him and if we want to develop players it means playing them. As fans we have to accept that a part of our philosophy is promoting within and actually supporting that. It stills feels like fans always look for money being spent as the answer. Dortmund and Ajax and ourselves to a certain degree show it isn’t and if we can achieve a balance between the two we’re going to be in good shape going forward. Hope fans get off his back a bit next season

Post match, after the players were back in the dressing room, sissoko came back out and threw/gave his shirt to the fans near to where I was seated at. Lovely gesture. ?
Didn’t see any of the other players do that though.

Son also came out a little later and approached some Korean fans on the far side.

That's about as enjoyable and satisfying as non-competitive games get. Lots of bite in the first half, didn't allow Juventus players any time on the ball and built well from the back with Gazzanigga and the defence calm and precise in their passing. The youngsters all played well; Parrott in particular looked very impressive. He was quick to spot and intercept Matuidi's weak pass, release Son and make the run 50 yards to take the return which led to Lamela's goal. Classic CF play.

Second half we didn't press so hard, Juve had more time and space to build attacks and we paid the price x 2. Not the first time we've dominated against them only to concede two in five minutes. Moura's goal again came from us picking off a weak pass, Ndombele this time. The defence seemed to open up in front of him, he was alive to it and found Lucas without hesitation. Very encouraging start for him.

Higuain pulled a decent chance just wide and a 60-yard run from Sissoko led to Kane shooting just past the post in the 82nd minute and that seemed to be it as the pace of the game dropped. Until Lucas snapped at Rabiot in the centre circle and Kane had the speed of thought to know exactly what to do with the loose ball. In fairness to Chesney he jogged straight over to HK at the end to give him a hug and it was smiles all round.

Agree with everyone else about Skipp's performance. Always available for a pass, quick to get a foot in and his passing was quick and positive. Really looked the part. MP will love the fact that all three goals came from seizing on or forcing mistakes and taking advantage before they could recover. We looked much more on our game mentally than them. Be interesting to see how the game goes against United on Thursday. They should be a bit sharper than Juventus whose league doesn't start until two weeks after the PL.

I've had a good read through and used the search function, I have also Googled and looked elsewhere, but I cannot find the official attendance for love nor money.

Anyone ITK? ?
