Our lads look really fit and sharp, some serious early-era Poch pressing going on - great to see!

Yep, I’ve missed that 15/16 type of pressing. We’ve implemented it every now and then in the seasons since but never consistently, maybe if we can keep everyone fit we will see some kind of move back to that?

The players look very lean this year, all round
What a difference a proper summer break makes.

If we add Lo Celso, Sessegnon to this lot I will be super excited for the season ahead.

If the press is back, we regain control of the midfield and can be more inventive then I reckon were in for a big year.

What formation are we playing?

Kind of a 4-4-1-1 / 4-2-3-1 with Son playing as a false 9 and Parrott and Dele getting past him when we attack the final third. Lamela, Skipp and Winks working hard in the middle and width coming form the FBs

Can we just get all the 'Parrott plays well off the shoulder' comments out of our system now and then quarantine this thread and never speak of it ever again please?

Here's mine- Parrott will play well on the shoulder of the defender in the prem don't you think?

No more.

Anyone who's seen him enough, do you think Tanganga can step into the first team? He looks quite comfortable and as we were linked to Saliba would we be better off saving the money and giving him minutes this year?
