He needs loads of time invested in him to have any chance of maturing into a top class player. He may never get there though so he is a huge gamble as if he does t mature his defending he is a bit too much of a liability

I don't understand why he was at the stadium if he wasn't going to get to take part and now not about today :(

Wasn’t there a reporter yesterday who said we believe we have a buyer for him? May be a case of not wanting to risk injury for a player we’re lining up to be sold.

He also said incorrect Doherty price, said United wanted him last year despite going for his absolute opposite in AWB which wouldn't make any sense. About Ndombele too seems his info wasn't correct given every reports that we doesn't want to sell him

Yet Aurier starts?
I'd guess Foyth picked up a slight knock in the first friendly match or is suspected of having covid

Good, I sincerely hope the report is wrong. I’d much rather we loan him if he’s looking for more playing time.

I really hope we find him a Premier League loan this season before deciding to sell him, so much potential there but TottenhamBoys ITK about actively trying to sell him doesn't sound good.

I think selling him is probably the correct decision. He needs seasons worth of game time to mature and we aren’t going to facilitate that. If he doesn’t get the time and air cover to mature he is a Chriches/Luiz at best. I think the funds his sale would add could do more use for us than keeping him

Was always a project purchase with Poch but even Poch himself arguably mismanaged him and didn't give him enough opportunities. Has been here too long now without demanding a place in the team based off his development and performances when given a chance. Was unfortunate that he got his injury last season when we were going to use at RB but that in itself is quite telling.

Time to cash in (if possible) thanks to the current climate.

Agreed. Seems like we need the cash in order to buy a new striker though.
Its clear that Aurier, Foyth & Rose need to be sold to make room and to balance the finances. If we can potentially get 30-35m out of their sales, it would go a long way. But there needs to be buyers first and it sounds like we dont have many bites.

The Argentine defender, Juan Foyth, who currently plays for English Tottenham Hotspur, is the player Villarreal wants to reinforce and improve their defensive line. The Argentine international would be a first-rate reinforcement. In addition, Villarreal already knows Juan Foyth, since the technicians followed him during his time at Estudiantes de la Plata. His name has even been on the table on several occasions, but it has not been possible to undertake it due to its high price.

Despite not being a regular in his team, Foyth is one of the great promises of Argentine football (he is 22 years old) and one of the centers with the greatest potential of his age. After emerging in his country with Estudiantes de la Plata, he drew the attention of several teams, Tottenham being the one that took over his services for 12 million euros.

Foyth is number one on Villarreal's list, which would seek to seize the services of the defender with a possible transfer. The problem is that Tottenham seems not to be willing to part with the player permanently , which complicates things. Villarreal's options go through the decision of Jose Mourinho , since since his arrival he does not seem to have the player, which could open the door.

Loan to Villarreal would be a good move ..give him matches to develop

If we could get a decent loan fee out of him I think it would be the way to go. There is definitely a player in there, he just needs games.

I think there is a very special player in there.

I really have no idea how good he is. One match he’s great, the next he’s costly. All I know that since he joined us is that he looks like a player who needs games and nothing in his performances can persuade me otherwise. If he went on loan and had a storming season then we could well save ourselves a lot of money in a year’s time.
