Was wondering when this might pop up again. Increasingly looks like a decent option, especially if we get another foreign player in Skriniar.

I can’t remember McGrath’s credibility this window? But to be honest I would take him for the right price as a backup 100%

With our HG struggles (exacerbated by a possible Dele exit) I could see this one happening, but the point is that something must happen on the striker front.

Shame bergwijn is not up to filling that role

I think Bergwijn will be the replacement to Son. King would just be a good way to cover for both Kane and also Son during his recovery. I still would prefer an out-and-out center forward like Milik/Weghorst, but I see the logic in King. This is all to say I don’t think King just entered the fold as an option in the past hour since Sons injury, so the timing of that is quite a coinkydink.

After all of the last 24 hours Milik negativity were back to Josh King is mentioned again as our second senior striker option.

Son out for a while could make this more likely too

King and Skriniar would be fantastic imo.

I do think King is underrated by some on here. He's a very competent player who can play across the front 3.
