It's not - I would be stunned if he isn't still at the club next season. If Kane wants to go though that would mean cash being freed up for transfers.
"Freed up for transfers" for who though? No CL no top players coming in and a top top player going out. We need to keep our best players and add to them unfortunately I don't see Levy spending big now CL has gone unless we sell.

So you've come back around to the point that I'm making. If Kane wants to leave, it guarantees a cash injection for transfers. Levy will probably want young talent with a sell on fee and Mourinho will probably want a couple of older players like Willian (which I have to say I'm not massively against because personally I've always felt that we've lacked players with experience of winning big trophies).

Just watching the bin dippers against athleticism and my god trippier looks reborn. Aurier should take notes
I agree he looked very comfortable on the ball and in his play. His leaving was a mystery to me as we let Walker go as we had a perfect replacement in Trippier and a year later we let him go. Now look at our defensive problems. It's crazy!

No one thought Trippier would ever be at the level Walker was at when he left. Then people shit all over Trippier for the majority of his time at right back for us, he had some really poor performances and then he was sold. Don't re-write a history.

He got some stick on here in the season after the world cup.

To me a fit Kane and back to the form of a couple of seasons ago is arguably one of the best if not the best striker in the world. He is equally as good with both feet a great header of the ball and his passing is very underrated. Who would you replace him with? You talk about William who is a good player but not in the same class as Kane. You say about young talent with potential but that doesn't help us now.
If Kane wants to leave because he feels he can't win anything with us there is nothing we can do about it but we need to make sure he stays.

Mate, if I could scout players or pick teams then I would be doing it for a job. I'm not one of those people who thinks that they can run a club or manage a team. I simply said that if Kane wants to leave then it would free up extra money for transfers.

He did get a right slagging on here in the season before he left, that's for sure.
He was slaughtered regularly. Sometimes his performances were poor. How people imagine it after the fact always baffles me. Bit like Aurier this season etc etc

There's loads of examples of players being lauded after leaving under a cloud, I'm sure. In fairness to @SPURSLIFE he may well have always felt that Trippier would come through his bad spell though.

Really? This is the same squad of players (plus a couple of extra January purchases) that he claimed was the 3rd best squad in the premier league and good enough to challenge for the premier league next season.

A worse squad than this got us to the Champions league final last season.

Yup.... I just wish he would stop talking altogether.
