Jose in batshit crazy Turkey against Galatasaray should have some wild moments.

I still have a soft spot for José, one of the most listenable guys around when it comes to football.

No filter as well, which I like.

Always comes across well when things are going well and he's on a charm offensive.

I wish him well and hope he wins another league title.

Some very nice words and good feelings from Mou after the CL, 1:13:50 - much more positive about Tottenham and the direction of the club than about Chelsea and Man U (after being asked about his former clubs in the prem)

Did he have a slight dig at Levy there?

“ this is Tottenham, always fighting to be forth”

😂

He's so good at what he does.

Everyone now says Spurs ruined him and sacked him before a final.

But noone recalls that he threw away a 2 goal lead to Zagreb whose coach was in prison, had rotten form going into that game, players who had given up and had just lost to that finals opposition 3-0 weeks before.

There was very little reason to believe we'd have gotten a win other than "It's Jose" who had already lost his spark anyway.

He'd lost an FA Cup final a couple of years prior and has recently lost a Europa League final.

But people always blame the club he has been fired from or are quick to highlight his last win.

I was one of the seemingly few that was delighted he was sacked before the final. The players weren't playing for him and the mood around the club was so low. The fact that he was gone was one of the only things that had me any bit optimistic for the final.

The mistake was not sacking him on the plane home from Zagreb.

Yeah I recall the performance before against Everton was one of the most apathetic performances we've seen in recent times.

There was no feeling and Jose sat there in a sulk for the full 90. He'd checked out.

Spot on. It's the Everton game that I also have in my mind as being one to strongly signal that he shouldn't have still been there.

That Everton game was atrocious.. but sacking him before the final was crazy. We would have been better keeping him, we were battered in that final with Mason not knowing what to do.

Admittedly we would have been battered with Jose, but there was a chance he could have done something about it.

He then went on to win the double with Roma I think 🤔.. strangely I’ve always liked him apart from when he managed us 😂

Sadly, I can only 'winner' this once. Deserves at least 10.
