Jose Mourinho will give Tottenham flop Tanguy Ndombele a second chance to show he can cut it in the Premier League. Spurs’ record £65million buy from Lyon has disappointed during his opening injury-hit season in England, scoring only two goals In 19 league appearances.

What makes me sad is that I can't disagree too much with calling him a flop.

I personally think its ridiculous. The guys talent and ability is there for all the see. He has shown on many occasions how gifted he is.

Let's work with him and build a team that plays to his strengths, I'm sure in time articles like this will look stupid.

Why would we build a rival to deliveroo?

his situation reminds of Tom Huddlestone.

Tom wasn't so mobile but he good passing range.

If Tanguy would just put some more effort in, to get fitter and do more off the ball, he would be a star.

He will figure out that in the prem, every one has to put a shift in

"scoring only 2 goals"

Let's hope he's taking this time to get super fit. This is effectively another 'pre-season' for him - hope he makes the most of it

I've written this before: I wouldn't like to see Spurs ' get rid' of Tanguy, as they would possibly loose too much money in the process, plus it's just too early to be giving up on a £65 mill. investment. In my opinion, Jose has taken the correct action by giving him a further chance - plus it will put him under pressure to perform now - he can do it, I believe, and that is really all that matters at this point.
All is not totally lost, fellow Spurs fans; Lo Celso's light appears to be shining brightly...........
