The English papers that advance João Moutinho has reached agreement with Tottenham André Villas Boas. The deal will amount to
27 million euros for hiring the Portuguese midfielder. Joao Moutinho will have achieved the goal of receiving a monthly salary of around 120,000 euros.

The Sporting holder of 25% of João Moutinho pass on capital gains of 11 million euros in the case of any transfer of the player will receive about 4.450 million, if confirmed the deal, because it will be entitled a further 1.5% bonus because the player pertecer the formation of the club.

Odds on skybet for Moutinho to joins us this window is 4/9 yesterday it was 1/1 !
It means nothing I'm afraid.

Someone makes up a rumour, people believe the rumour, people put money on the rumour to come true, the odds shorten, more rumours start, more people bet, odds shorten more.

An example of this was Sneijder to QPR last week. @BBCSporf made it up out of nowhere (even tweeted saying - "Let's make up a rumour #SneijderToQPR anybody??".) People actually believed it as word went round and money started going on them.

The odds then shortened from not even being quoted right down to 8/1 at one point, as well as being quoted in the Channel 4 news that night.

So yeah - odds mean nothing.

I would have thought his monthly salary would be closer to double that..

I believe if we were going to sign him it would have been in place before the window opened and have happened by now.

This window will be another waiting game which will end up as another waiting game come summer.

He is the new Leandro.

Of course I would be very happy to be proved wrong. But really can't see him or Leandro. Our major signings seem to come out of the blue with no ITK involvement.

Somewhere buried within this thread/site is something that says after the 13th January. You never know, we may well hear something after this coming weekend if true.

That might be because Porto are away to Benfica on the 13th.

Yep. Got to look at it from Porto's perspective, why sell if you don't need to.

He scored the only goal (a penalty) in Porto's cup game tonight. Apparently his track record with penalties is normally terrible though - he'll fit right in with us...

A monthly salary of 120,000 euros? Fuck thats even less than what im on EVEN IN POUNDS.

Levy would be a master if he got Moutinho for that little.

Levy is the man.......having said that do we still need him? Sandro and Moussa are building a nice little partnership in the middle.

@FCPortoWorld
João Moutinho did not train with the squad today, which Vitor Pereira will speak about later in his weekly presser. I dont think its serious
