With so many lower league clubs in dire financial trouble, I imagine this summer we'll be tabling even more lowball bids than usual for good youth, just to feel out which clubs might not be able to say no. And a lot of them will get made public by the other club, trying to draw out more interest.

Levy is probably the only chairman in football who could fail in a buyer's market lol

£500k is steep for a kid who’s yet to kick a ball.

We've set some great precedent with these signings in Jack Clarke though.

Clarke looked very exciting for Leeds and albeit raw he has clear ability. Weir made his debut at 15 years of age in 2017 and hasn’t featured since. I know we should be targeting youngsters but no games for 3 years isn’t exactly encouraging.

His Dad is ex-Everton defender Davie Weir who just happens to work for Brighton where he manages young players who are loaned out to foreign clubs
