Yeah, sorry, it wasn't meant to sound pedantic. I'm not sure what it was supposed to sound like to be honest but I did wonder that myself as it did sound like it could have been 'the' player.

But yeah, in some ways Pastore adds up. Whilst he is a fantastic player, I actually would have hoped it was a CM and someone less injury prone. (If it was even him of course).

IMO Pastore wouldn't go straight into the team and not a hugely exciting transfer.

Because it’s the first time he wanted too? Just because he was always looking like going Bayern doesn’t mean we weren’t talking and trying to get him here.
