i really like hernandez, sure he doesn't get involved in the play all that much but then neither does soldado. he's super quick and a clinical finisher, i'd be surprised if it happened but this window has been one big surprise so why not.

He started off so well for ManU, but these days he blows a little hot and cold. Was totally invisible in the confeds too. We already have a poacher smurf in defoe so i would prefer a striker with more physique.

Being invisible obviously helped as He got 3 goals in 3 games in the confeds!

Would be a brilliant option with Bobby. Not as well a rounded player as Bobby but a born finisher and the way our midfield is shaping up, exactly the right fit.

Why would Yanited be looking to let him go though? Along with Rooney still offski potentially. Are they looking to hijack the Benzema deal from assnal? :D

He's actually a very similar style player to Soldado, although Robbie is a bit more grizzled and prepared to scrap outside the box.

It's interesting in that AVB seems to want a like-for-like replacement in every position of the squad so we can compete on all fronts...

love the idea of this, I'm sure he'd get playing time at tottenham, super nippy player looks smooth in front of goal. We already seem to have 2 players arriving in london tonight to complete transfers and someone talking to eriksen in holland, seems a bit much. Hernandez is a no brainer if we have any more money to spend. but personally I can't see united letting him go to us.

If we get him, could we please put Hernandez on his shirt?

Chicharito.... meh, don't need to hear another commentator explain his nickname ever again.

Perfect rotation for Soldado, very underrated and utilised at Man Utd. Often wondered how happy he can be with limited starts surely it gets to a point where you want to be the main man of a team ?

He could be the reverse of most good players ie get all your banked trophies out of the way first at one of the biggest clubs at the world, then go and be a proper main man at a different up and coming the club in a new adventure.

Doubt Man Utd sell him though

He would be an awesome signing - similar enough to Soldado (poacher type) that he could come into the team without the tactics changing much. Makes a lot of sense imo. I would pay £14 million for him.

Yep, would love this to be true. Quality little player, but struggling to see United selling him to us.

He's definitely worth what they're apparently looking as well.

If it were at the beginning of the window.. Slight slight chance. But after things have evolved no chance in hell. We're getting close, really close with a couple days to go.

I am no great fan of Defoe but he is a better striker than Chicarito...............for me it's a NO-WAY-JOSE!
