He'll have his pick of clubs and ones who will pay wages that a top player would command including pool who will be looking for a new CB.
Set your sights lower lads, our shit hole of a club ain't signing a player like him unfortunately
Feel free to find another one if you feel like this, I’d recommend Chelsea or City.

What are you basing that on? He's only started 20 first team matches in his career - that's an extremely small sample size to be making such statements from.
Granted small sample size.

But he's 26 and from what i've seen he's well rounded. By that i mean he's not got a massive area of weakness.

Now if you were to ask me if Vic had a massive area of weakness last season Id have said no, but the PL has showed he had this season.

I think Kelleher is a really good keeper, developing at a really good rate.

Bet he signs for Chelsea though.

This is surely a windup - Ryan Flamingo!!?!?!?!?

Sign him immediately!
NGL I would be buying that shirt day one if we got him for his name alone. But in truth he has been very impressive this season, one of PSV's stand out players. He wouldn't be my top choice but certainly one to keep an eye on. TBH just going off this season Araújo has really really impressed me a lot. The fact he's pushed Silva down the pecking order, who has been heralded at Benfica's next mega talent for the last two years, says a lot. I wouldn't want to say he was my top pick because it's too soon to tell but by the end of the season... he looks an supremely talented defender.

As for Goalkeepers Lucas Chevalier who i know has already been mentioned in here, has been very impressive but he will be looking for first team football. The big young GK talent currently is Guillaume Restes at Toulouse. He's only 19 but considered one of France's very biggest prospects. He's already a starter with something like 53 top flight games played. Huge future ahead of him but obviously still needs time to develop further.

I really rate kubo, got no stats to back it up but every time I watch him play he’s got that X factor about him to make big plays

Cherki has had attitude problems for several years so wouldn't be one I would go anywhere near
Not really the case anymore hence me suggesting him. He’s matured massively. Also Lyon have been a mess over the last few years with numerous appalling manager appointments. The entire dressing room was at war at one point. Worth watching him in comparison to last season and reading the reports coming out of France regarding the effort he puts in on and off the field and his changed attitude. Similar story to Djed Spence.

I always heard he had a similar style to Hazard but watching some vids on him, he reminds me a bit of Kulu in how he moves and dribbles. Is that a fair comparison or way off the mark?

Cherki makes Ndombele look like a hard worker, no thanks.
As I mentioned above, it’s really worth watching Lyon this season. He’s improved a lot. He gets a lot of stick for his previous persona and until this season i wouldn’t even consider him but he’s much more of a team player these days. I’m not sure if you caught the Lille game for example but he started on the wing and was tracking back to his own box and putting in the work.

Maybe he has changed but it's a few months versus several years of not having a proper attitude. It would be quite a risk and if it went badly re attitude then we can't say we hadnt been warned about him.
We have enough project players at the minute, assuming money is tight think it can be better spent on other position and profile.

He’s one of those players that I assumed would be an Adel Taarabt mk 2. I even said as much last summer. I went as far as saying he’d be a terrible signing for exactly the reasons those above mentioned. A show pony that only plays for himself but every game I’ve watched of Lyon this season, and I think I’ve only missed 2 maybe 3 matches, he has really impressed me. Much more of a team player.

If he sustains it is another matter altogether. But I have been extremely encouraged. As a dribbler he’s incredibly talented. I mean he’s unplayable at times. Just a question of how he would physically hold up in the PL.

He's started 7 games in all comps (4 in the league) this season, of which he has completed 90 mins once. That is not enough to prove he has changed. There are many players that do this for a short while whilst trying to earn a move, then revert to type once they have their big contract.

Ndombele worked hard in several games for Lyon too.

I'm not convinced.

What was it about his performances of the games you watched of him this season specifically that make my you doubtful he has matured?

As I said in my reply to @King of the Lane above that it’s too soon to judge but for me he has been showing all the signs of a player that has mentally getting his game together. He’s pretty much upped his game in every single aspect across the board and has become integral to Lyon’s attack.

I keep flip flopping in who I want as our next DM. I thought I was set on Ricci but the more I watch Baleba, the more I want him. Would be difficult to get as Brighton paid £23m for him so they will probably want to triple their money in the summer (if they let him go). I know you are also a fan @Ghost Hardware

Nothing, its the small (tiny in fact) sample size vs history combined with the situation he is in.

Triple, no chance, they will want Caicedo money for him.

Zero chance we even have a shot at Baleba. Brighton are very good at knowing what they have and the value. Essentially too much for us. I honestly wouldn’t even get attached to the idea. Looks a great talent tho obviously.
