Sure I read somewhere last few years he had a load of issues with his teeth, meaning he would lose a lot of weight but its sorted. I could be way off with that but sure I heard something like that about him.

Think Aly Cissokho and a couple other players had same problem.

But a few scots I know have said that so far this season, its one of the best individual performances so far in absolute years.
We should be looking at scouting team for celtic

On the subject of Celtic their left back, 20 year old Alex Valle, would suit us well. Good technical floor, very comfortable with inverting and has played LB and RB. He’s currently on loan from Barca but they might well be open to sell him. Certainly one I’d be keeping an eye on over they seasons

Highlights from his game Vs Atalanta

Sudakov having a great game for SD currently against Young Boys. Just scored a really lovely goal for SD’s second after setting up the first with a perfect ball across the face of the goal for a tap in. I know SD will never deal with us again but you can see why we were interested in the past.

Don’t know how the hell we get rid of Richy next summer if he won’t go to Saudi, but Jonathan David’s CL form is turning my head a little. There are so many PL teams looking for a No 1 striker I guess he’d be reluctant to come here if Solanke keeps scoring. Given he’ll be a free transfer, he’ll have his pick.

Said on X today that him on a free to replace to Richy plus targeting Zhegrova on the right would be really smart. Not sure it makes sense to David to come here since he'll have his pick of clubs where he know he can be first choice, but from our squad perspective having him and Solanke rotate/compete would be really solid.

Zhegrova is showing this season he is a force off the right hand side, and I think his skills offset Johnsons quite well. With Deki moving centrally, I think it's a good opportunity to sign a RW still. Gets a little tricky since we have a loan ending in Werner, an aging star like Son, then 2 really good youthful players in Moore and Odobert PLUS another prospect in Yang outside of having Johnson.

The two of David and Zhegrova have been really combining, so why break it up? Just bring them both here haha

He’s skifull, Zhegrova, but a very, very head down type of player. Not sure he’s quite what I’d like.

Think Victor Johansson at Stoke would be a great option for a really good 2nd keeper next season. Has easily been one of the best keepers in the Championship in the last few seasons.

The additional benefit being that he joined Villa at 17 years of age, and hasn't left England since, so assuming that he would be home grown/home trained or whatever it's called.

No idea about his willingness to be a 2nd keeper, but might be in that sweet spot of good enough for us and big enough jump for him to join a growing Swedish mafia at Spurs.

Just looking at Gabriel Sara on Gala... 8 goal contributions in 14 matches so far. 27 in 53 for Norwich last season in the championship. Any idea why no PL sides have taken a look at him. Still pretty young at 25.

He’s good on Football Manager. Sign him up.

Feels like the loss tonight in Istanbul and performance at Conventry really comes down to our squad.

I’m not sure we’ll be able to put our first XI players in for the latter stage cup games we hopefully play, alongside PL games when March/April/May comes around without dipping into the market come Jan.

If we had more first team cover - stylistically suited for an attacking possession based setup - I’d be much more confident.

Ange is showing performances on the whole are improving with the limited first XI changes he was given in the summer. I think he could push us on even further if he’s given more ‘ready to go’ players and no more of our board (allegedly but wholly believable) opting out of good players because we’d end up spending 50% wages to earnings rather than 45% ffs.

Really think we need to strengthen with 2/3 players ready to play first team in Jan and then pursue worldies come Summer.

Do we need a more suitable fit for our system at CB ? Dragu may not be the answer and Ben's on his way out.

a good mate of mine is a Celtic tragic and really rates their winger Kuhn.

He's having an incredible season, 9 goals and 10 assists in 16 games across all comps. Spent time in some of the best youth academies in Europe as well - Leipzig, Ajax and Bayern Munich. Supposedly quite a few teams in Europe are watching him, doubt he will still be at Celtic next season if he continues his current form.

I get the impression Grealish wouldn't be that popular a choice among our fans, as I think most tend to have a very clear idea of the type of wide that they think would fit us and Grealish isn't that. But, personally, I rate him so highly and think he'd be great on the left for us. But, given his age, I really can't see this happening. I doubt wages would be a massive problem as it's probably only really Villa or Newcastle we'd be competing with. No one will give him his City wages. But I can't see Levy paying a decent fee for a player who is 30 in September.

Wouldn’t work out left at all for us imo. Cuts inside pretty much every time, he isn’t a winger or even wing forward. Added to that he turns 30 next September and he picks up a fair few injuries.

Best goal return in the league is 8 goals and that was back in the 19/20 season. He isn’t the killer type of wide player that we need.

Looks a very exciting player. Saw a bit of him for Celtic the other night. Watched parts of the game back on the Discovery + app.

I think we are only a few players short of where we need to be.

Unfortunately I cannot see us going in hard for anyone worth spending money on unless we've had some sort of injury crisis. Personally I think the only real business we should be doing is for Dorgu or an equivalent to rotate properly with Udogie. Gray has has looked exposed as a fullback and I'd rather see us give minutes to Spence and a left sided equivalent.

Gray imo needs to start seeing minutes in midfield more regularly, although it's going to be a rough ride watching him settle in to the position, it might be helped if we have a hard worker like Sarr in there alongside him.

I’d love to see Grealish play for us.

Yeah, probably not the best or most logical Ange winger, but he’s one of the most Spurs players I’ve ever seen.

He’d fit the club like a glove
