Looks like the Transfer Forums are now closed, so I’m creating a space for @Ghost Hardware to bequeath his scouting knowledge and for us less knowledgeable folk to talk about 6, 8s, inverted fullbacks, Wingers That Can Beat Their Mantm that we feel should be of interest.

I’ll start, because this fella popped up in the algorithm and woo-boy, he looks great! He’s also incredibly young so I think that means we will be interested.

Saw him scoring for Sporting so checked him out and yeah he looks a talent.

Locko is the one with the serious injury. Dorgu is the teen but any chances of a cheap deal seem to have gone as his club were reportedly looking for circa £30m in the summer.

He has been deployed deep by Lille under Fonseca despite being quite diminutive.

Carsley played him as holding midfield for U21, has done so at times in France as well. He play the position in the same way Ange want Bissouma to do.

Not a DM in the manner that part of our fan base seem to think that we miss though.

Whenever I watched him i do like the fact he is tenacious.

Exactly the same height as N'golo Kante which didn't stop him excelling at the base of midfield.

I think, like most youngsters, he's been deployed in various positions during his short career so far but seems to be settling into a more defensive role.

My lad was saying earlier that something, probably bloody FIFA, lists him as playing wing, cam, cm and cdm.

It seems that's Carsley has always used him in a deeper role though.
