Dear community,

I watched a conversation yesterday on social media that seems a bit strange to me.
As it looks, Jan Vertonghen doesn't get along well with his teammates anymore.

Yesterday on Instagram, Aurier commented a statement of Jan, who has before commented a picture of Ndombele:

"We don't want anything more from you. Stop provoking it."

Also Ndombele, who originally posted the picture:
"You don't want to understand it"

It looks like a hostile situation to me
At the end of last year, suspicious stories emerged, in which Jan should be the focus, regarding player-women and wrangling among the team members.

Is anyone in the community aware of the personal situation of Jan? This only concerns the incidents that occur off the pitch, like the ones I mentioned above.

Doesn’t sound good either way. I remember when Poch arrived he dealt with some of the less sociable characters in our team, Adebayor particularly. Sir Clive Woodward talks about a similar situation with bad eggs in his book “Winning”, Energizing people were kept, Sappers were dropped. I worry that Aurier and Ndombele could be new bad eggs who we could do without.

The fact you think players post their own instagram and twitter pics in the first place is just delightful.

After reading those I am absolutely convinced that when Jan was walking around the ground after Saints in the FA cup he was actually desperately sad that Aurier and Ndombele didn't want to be his Instagram buddies anymore :cautious:
