Good news. Sort out LB so he doesn't get shunted out there at the drop of a hat. Can be a top, top player for us.

Keeping Lloris and Vertonghen is gonna to be a huge plus for whoever gets the manager's job. To replace a GK and CB of their calibre would not be easy.
The dissent seems to have ceased in the wake if Sherwood's dismissal. Good.

But he's so moody and I've never hated a Spurs player this much before :shifty:

It's ridiculous to see how much bad press he got from our own fans purely based on the expression on his face

When was the last time a player asked to be transfer listed? They don't anymore because they perversely get a 'loyalty' payment when they're sold if they don't ask for a transfer.

I doubt we'd be able to keep him if a bigger team comes knocking especially if he has a good World Cup. I'd love him to stay but I take anything a footballer says with a pinch of salt these days.

Well, when a fan base consists of mainly morons; we're likely to read some dumb shit.

Makes me wonder if the managerial position has already been sorted and Jan approves, hence why he's come out and said he wants to stay.

Glad he's come out and said it though.

I wouldn't read too much into this, if he has a solid world cup, clubs will seek him out in their droves. FDB might be able to convince him to stay, if we are able attract FDB ofcourse...

He's heard about the 7 players we're going to sign this summer and is really excited. Me too, we're guaranteed success now, I mean, what could possibly go wrong???
