Love the guy to bits. One of our very best players in the premiership era. Hope he gets a nice comfy few years somewhere to finish off his career.

Has been superb for us. Absolute class. Shame he doesn't get the send off he deserves.

Developed in to a real Spurs legend imo. Great signing, and we will need another great signing to replace him. He was part of a great back four June 1 2019, you only have to look at the back 4 now to understand why we have missed top 4.

Good luck Jan, forever Spurs!

One of our best ever defenders.

Credit to the club for a heartfelt and moving video celebrating Super Jan this morning.

Not ashamed to say I got choked up watching it.

Absolute legend.

Here's wishing him all the very best for the future.

Brilliant defender, and a great servant to the club. Sad to see another of this golden era leave the club without winning a trophy though :(

Part of our best defence ever. Walker, Toby, Jan, Rose.

An absolute pleasure to watch in his prime. Made defending look so easy.

I would like to know if he was offered short term 1-2 year deal, I would be disappointed if he didn't get one. Maybe he was offered one but rejected it on the grounds of limited playing time or length. I hoped he would stick around another year, the team needs an overhaul at both fullback/wingback positions, new CM, a new striker to rotate with HK and having his experience in the squad would have been useful.

I could have genuinely seen him being a dependable backup should we have an injury crisis next season, like seems to have befallen us this year.

As others have said the guy is a truly great defender, one of the best I have ever seen in our shirt. I personally don't think he is done at this level and wouldn't be surprised to see plenty of interest in him. I would be flabbergasted if he ends up at some shithole like West Ham.
