Think it would be a terrible idea. He is supposed to be late to every traing session and meeting. Ange would get fucked off with him within a month.

Also don't think we need to focus on that area of the pitch. Need a high quality 6/8 ahead of another winger.

Oh we definitely need another winger. Odobert already showed the other day how important a proper winger is to our system. Having 1 isn't enough. We always need at least 1 on the pitch but also the option of having 1 on each flank would be gamechanging.

I don't really rate the guy, I would much rather Chiesa, but if he does come I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt over attitude, until he prove's otherwise.
Look at Djed. People can grow. I'm sure United was a humbling experience for him, and hopefully he'll have learned some lessons.

Isn't Werner supposed to be on big wages too? We did similar with Adebayor as well. Hell we even loaned Bale back. An option would just mean we can try and convince the player to lower his wages in line with ours.

Werner is on around 150k pw. Sancho reportedly on more than double that. I think Son is our top earner on around 160k. I doubt we’ll smash our wage structure for a player that has reported disciplinary issues. Loan is fine as Man U will probably cover part of his wages. But got make it perm we’d be asking Sancho to drop his wage demands by at least 50%. I just don’t see that happening.

His "attitude" was much better at Dortmund last season wasn't it?
This is my main concern. Fallen out with Ten Haag, fell out of the England mix too. Bright lights of London and all that.

That said, if Ange wants him and he wants to come and knuckle down I’ll back him. As @Ghost Hardware mentioned above, he has technical ability which many of our wingers lack.

Big risk but huge upside. Worth a loan with an option or obligation if he makes X amount of appearances, but there’s no way I’d sign him without a try before you buy.

Falling out with Ten Haag is as much on the manager as him. And falling out of England is understandable when he wasn't playing for a large part of the season and then hadn't regained form.

Assuming this is a loan, I wouldn't be opposed to it. However, a bit worried about blocking Mikey Moore's path.

Edit - have just seen his support for Greenwood on Instagram, I would now be opposed to it.

I imagine his agent is trying to talk to about 30 clubs at the moment in the same way Chiesa’s was earlier in the summer.

I think with the World Cup coming up, and Ange meeting him in person judging his character face to face. If he passes the Ange test, I see no reason why a loan is a bad thing. Stick a close in it with anptinal return jurinf the winter break.

Perfect fit stylistically. There’s a sensational player in there somewhere. Would be very shrewd if the terms are favourable. Imagine he also has a point to prove.

He's a seriously good player when he wants to be, he was brilliant in the CL last season.

Too much baggage though so don't see it happening.

What baggage has he really got aside from a contentious falling out with ten Hag? His coach publically accused him of training and conducting himself poorly and he publically responded. Seems like a case of being better dealt with internally from all involved.

Repeating myself but I watched him for the first time live in u17 Finals and whole stadium (in Croatia) was chanting his name. He had so many great dribbles and couple of rabona passes. In the end Spain won with some clutch plays from Ferran Torres but everyone was jealous of City's prospect in Sancho. Give him freedom and he can do wonderful things, he has so much flair. I think we'll only get a backup CB/LB and GK though, we always leave ourselves short somewhere.

God, yes please.

Looks like United are going to need to bring some cash in for PSR once Ugarte is done, so I could see them taking a hit on Sancho.
