Will be interesting if he gets looked at by Mourinho after this season. You just never know. He scores goals after all.

Is this his level @edson ? I hope if he doesn't get to make it with us he gets a shot in the Championship, thanks for the update.

He can play championship football from what I have seen and remember this is a short loan so lets see what happens in the next window.

I do think Jack Roles has to leave Spurs sadly, he is a player I always like to watch but he has never had a chance at Spurs and he has done everything he can and he has improved, I hope I am wrong and he plays at some point for us but when players like Bowden and White are getting picked ahead of him this does not look good for him, for the record I am a big fan of Harvey White.

Well, I hope Roles continues to take his chances when offered them, he scores goals after all!

Is he back now? The loan to Burton was supposed to be until January, wasn't it. He hasn't got near the matchday squad for a while, even with Burton being bottom.

Their manager got sacked, shame for Jack it didn’t come sooner. Seems a classic case of lower league manager in trouble, so we’ll go back to basics and a ball playing midfielder loses out

Roles must be still at Burton for now, they still have him on the official website but had a look at team training photos and he was not in any of them and they put up about 36 photos, only played 53 minutes in total what a waist of his time.

A waste of his time and a waste of his talent.

it's easy to look at this loan and conclude that he's obviously not good enough, if he can't get into a team bottom of league 1 then there's no hope for him. whilst he most likely will fall short of spurs level, he's certainly more than good enough to make it to a far better level than burton, i don't know a lot about burton but i imagine it was just a case of a young talented ball-playing midfielder just not suiting the lump it and hack it approach of a struggling side. shilow tracey is playing more at shrewsbury who are midtable and anyone who has watched both players knows full well that there is no comparison between the two, it would be laughable to suggest that tracey is even close to roles. eyoma starts every game for the side top of the league, obviously it's hard to compare a defender with an attacking midfielder but relative to their position you would say that roles is at least as good as eyoma, it's just that eyoma has gone into a good side and roles hasn't.

hopefully we can find him a better loan soon assuming he's back and won't be involved with the first team.

Eyoma is a prime example he was at Lincoln City last season and never played he goes back to the same club this year and plays most of the games and is one of their better players and he was the same player they did not play the year before.

This is Roles last chance for me IF he was to come back and not be involved then he will need to go and find another club long term, would like to see him at QPR because he would be a good fit and they don't know how to say no to a ex Spurs youth player.

I think Roles best chance is to leave Spurs permanently in January and join a lower league side or move abroad. There is definitely a player in there and given an opportunity I am confident he will do well. Unfortunately that won't be with us but no reason why he can't become a Championship player at least.8

Exactly the type of player that QPR should be looking to sign and develop.

I was thinking QPR as a full time deal and he would be a better player they have taken off us in the past.

Agree, read your post again and changed mine. It would be great if we could start building some relationships with lower league clubs to get our youngsters decent loans. Worked well in the past with Swindon and Orient. Even if it involves permanent deals with buy back clauses etc, definitely need to get creative as our loans are very hit and miss.

Not seen him on the team there, is he injured?

He played one game and was subbed after 50 odd mins. And not even made the subs bench since.
