I know YouTube can be deceptive but I like what I see. Quick, good dribbler, intelligent distribution. I don't see Leeds selling this window or, being a local lad, that he would particularly want to leave mid way through their promotion push. Maybe one for the summer though.

Am sure this was against Villa when he changed the dynamics of their attack. Very good on the ball but still raw. Watched Leeds all season. I have liked watching them this year rather than Hull. He has found a lot of form under Bielsa. If I remember correctly he also scored in the game at forest. Good feet, technically gifted but still learning (obviously) he usually comes in off the right side in most games but does switch to get the ball. Not afraid to shoot but is better at feeding Roofe or Klich

Is he ready for us? No.

Will he be? Yes if he carries on with the way his potential is showing. Be good to loan for another year as I doubt he will be ready just yet. Bit like Skipp will flit on the squad for a year then will slowly get more game time.
Yes mate I looked it up last night and it was the Villa match - he was brilliant.

The only way we sign him is if they don't get promoted.

[@MirrorFootball] now understands Tottenham Hotspur are aiming to complete the transfer of Leeds Utd winger Jack Clarke before the transfer deadline. Leeds are now hoping to agree with Spurs a loan-back option where they keep the player until the end of the season.

Would this be the 3rd transfer window in a row we have tried to sign a championship player but failed? Maybe league 1 is more our level?

I doubt he was ever seriously on the market. It would have been pretty shitty for him to try and force a move from his home town club in the middle of their promotion push back to the premiership.

They have to be careful with who they sell when Bielsa is the manager. If they start selling players he wants to keep he'll probably just walk away from the club. Would probably need to be a crazy bid for them to consider selling at this point in time.

Putting my optimist hat on he could be saying we could do a deal and loan him back but take him in the summer when they get promoted.

Not likely at all but always good to have hope.

Why would they agree to it though? It's the Sessegnon-thing all over again.

I agree I doubt it will happen. Leeds are in a very different financial situation to Fulham though. They've been out of the top flight for a lot longer and entered the championship up shit creek. Bielsa strikes me as the type of coach that would think he could improve the over all squad by selling individuals for good money.

Once again I don't for a second think this will happen in the next couple of days but you never know for these things.

Seems like it. Leeds will certainly refuse to sell, asking for a huge sum to scare suitors off, not only that but I imagine the lad would love to play for Leeds in the Prem so it would be hard to unsettle him.

These transfers aren't as simple as they used to be. Young British players seem less reluctant to force through big money moves now, only doing so if they can't get game time (Sancho, Odoi-Hudson), if their club is struggling or if they feel like they've done everything they can at their club and it's the right time to move (Grealish).

The likes of Sessegnon/Clarke wouldn't/won't force it as their club was/is on the verge of promotion and they at least want to experience the Prem with them first.

Also let's face it, as talented as Clarke is, he wouldn't get much game time for us at the moment if we did sign him.

We're not in desperate need to another winger/wide forward.

If he was a young talented central midfielder, then yeah he might get some minutes with us this season...but he's not.
