Maybe they are. Do you look at every other clubs ITKs?
No more than you, or most others. There's nothing in the press to suggest others are even looking at him let alone fighting for his signature, and you know what whores some journalists can be. I don't want him anywhere near our club, he's a Championship level player at best, and cerainly not suited to the way we play. Anyway, I'll leave it at this.

Man Utd, Chelsea and the scum have all been linked in the last few months.

I think calling him a Championship level player is ridiculous.

I can't believe you called him Championship level AT BEST seriously.

That's just objectively wrong.

The hyperbole is unreal, that's worse than twitter.

Agreed. He’s clearly a very capable premier league striker, who would do a great job for a mid table side, and a passable job for a team higher than that.

But you could use that description for Richarlison. Toney wouldn’t take us up a level

That's your opinion, to which you are entitled. I don't think he's good enough, which is my opinion.
Sure. But there's a big gap between not being good enough for a team around the Champions League place and being a Championship level player.

Maybe Championship level is a tad harsh, but he is nowhere near good enough to play in our system, and not good enough for UCL teams.

More than decent player, but he's such an arrogant ****. I can't stand him personally.

Whether he can play in our system or not, he's a good player, who has caused us trouble in most games he's played against us. Also, Thomas frank plays a 4-3-3 and like to keep possession and control the pace of the game with players interchanging...not too dissimilar to us. So perhaps he would fit the style.

Brentford play fast counter attacks, they definitely don't control the pace of games.

Brentford go long and get it forward quickly and then press aggressively up front to try and force a mistake. Do they have the majority of possession? Not sure. I do know that in both matches against us last season their possession percentage was in the low 30s

They average under 45%. Wissa and Mbuemo usually have acres to run into and certainly nothing like the way we play.

I wonder what his value actually is. He didn't exactly pull up trees when he came back this past season.

I would really like him as a rotation option with Richarlson, on paper, but I feel like he just might be too temperamental and potentially become a headache. If he could keep a steady head and play like he did in his appearance for England, he would be a perfect player in the squad.

I just think with Son, Richarlison, Kulusevski, possibly Parrott that we have enough goals up top than bringing Toney in

Realistically one of them could leave and we need a proper striker. Not saying I want Toney but we need a proper striker who’s gonna get 20 a season in the league ideally. Isak would be the dream but Toney isn’t a bad option.
