I think he would be pretty good for us. A few Brentford fans I spoke to said he has been nursing an injury for a number of weeks, he wants to go to the Euros so has played through it and they think thats why he hasnt performed at his best.

I think he ends up at Utd personally as they apparently want a more senior striker to take the pressure off of Rasmus.

Ange’s strikers are asked to press like demons. Even putting all the questions regarding his form, attitude, and professionalism to the side, I just don’t think he suits our needs.

Yup, that’s got Man U written all over it when you put it like that.
And I’d probably steer clear of anyone they are linked with over the summer.

He knows where the goal is but this feels like Darren Bent all over again. Counter-attacking team's striker signed for a team that dominates possession and opponents park the bus against

Question though. With 1 year left on his contract his value is really ~£30m. Possibly less when you consider he is 28. If we could get him for £20m + Reggie would you be interested ? Is it just the fee that's putting some off?

As a striker he is strong, can shield the ball with back to goal and play in his midfielders going beyond him and get his head on the ball in the air. Not a series of skills we have at the moment

Never, ever thought Ange would wan him.

Different players/positiions but Id far rather have us go all out for Eze and shop further a field for a CF.

Not for me. It’s the whole having two first names as your full name thing.

May as well be called John Bill.

See, this is the kind of analysis I come here for. I don’t care if you can receive a ball under pressure or if ya got more green than red in your fbref page. No. You have a dumb name? Off the list.

Might be asked to press. Doesn’t mean they actually do it tho.

He’s better than Son and Richie up top. If he could be bought for 35/40m then he’s a decent option for 4/5 years. His attitude problems rise whilst injured. And out and about. One would hope he buckles down and gets the attitude problems gone. Guy says some really stupid shit with a phone in front of him and a fit bird. I would rather a younger gem. But they are all risks. As is Toney I guess.

He is absolutely not better than Richarlison. Would be a massive downgrade if we sold Richarlison and brought in Toney. The only real issue Richarlison has had is fitness issues. When he was fit (albeit a shorter than ideal period of time this season) he was our best attacking player.

I'm afraid away Richarlison doesn't have the strength and cannot shield and hold up the ball, they are just not his strengths and to be honest all too often he even fails to win airial battles. These are the difference between the two and where we need to make the judgement on what we want.
