I thought i make this thread after clubs around us have been announcing their new big deals. Then these stats made me think how much is Bale worth to us and Perez said if Bale signed for a world record fee he would pay for himself with the increased revenue as shown before with the likes of figo, Beckham, ronaldo and etc.
If we want to compete with the teams around us financially we need to keep the likes of bale to build our brand and adding the likes of Paulinho, Villa and etc. will only increase our appeal to the big sponsors!
Also arsenal are said to be spending big this season and their increase in at least £50million for sponsors next season, is probably a big factor as to why. Someone said there might be a announcement this week, lets be hope we can compete with those around us.
