Can we still make it out of the group? Yes.
Can we still make top 4? Yes.

But things need to change at Spurs and quickly. We have such good attacking options, let those guys play and run the game for us and have them stabilized by our CB's and Wanyama. Rest Kane for god sakes.

This team needed a boost in the window and we didn't get it. That totally fucking sucks but we have to adjust ourselves on the pitch to compensate. Either Poch is that pissed at Levy that he's trying to show him how bad he fucked this up or what but I don't know what has gotten into him. Everyone knows fullback and midfield are our greatest issues and Poch has put those spots fore front in the last couple games to almost prove a point or something.

At least Aurier showed what he can be capable of. Play the fast fullbacks in a game together, play the really talented attacking mids 3 of them at a time. Play to our strengths Poch and we can climb out of this. But playing 3 of our midfielders together is not going to work.

I need to stop caring. I'm going to now try

Trust me it helps.
I used to watch loads of games, now I'm down to just Spurs and that is hanging by a thread.
Not sure if it comes with age but I just can't be bothered with it all.
Too many players irritate the fuck hell of me because they just seem to show so little effort.

Fair play to Aurier and Lamela today who really put in shifts.

I’m so pissed off I’ve started clicking on these shitty PPI ads to see if I can find the answer to the clusterfuckery unfolding around us

The other thing that's quickly becoming apparent is that we're going for a stylistic change. We were known for a very high press - that had already reduced a little and now looks to be gone. That makes sense to me mainly because of fatigue. Our first choice front three for it were Kane, Son and Dele, all of whom have played a LOT of football and probably can't manage a whole season charging around the pitch. Instead we seem to be going for a much more possession-oriented style - keeping the ball more than winning it back quickly - combined with very quick movements off the ball to try and create space. So far that hasn't really come off - I think that's why we've seen so many misplaced passes. But it's something that will take time and could work. And while performances have been sub-par, results have been very close to what you'd expect overall given the games played - three of our six against world-class opposition, and four away from home. With Hugo in goal I wager we'd actually be looking good results wise.

We're all disappointed - by recent form, by the stadium delay, by lack of investment considering how much we're being asked to pay to support the team. But on the pitch I'm seeing much more of a team trying something new - having only had a disrupted pre-season in which to practice no less - than anything calling for panic stations just yet.

Really wish i had some of your confidence

You know the first thing I noticed when we conceded at the end? Our players dropped to the floor. They were devastated. Because they knew they shouldn't have lost that game. But they still care, they're still fighting, and they were five minutes away from a fantastic result today. This is a bad spell in tough circumstances - not yet a downward spiral.

The Moura sub for Son made sense. They were tiring and the momentum was with. And he looked tasty too. But then to sub Lamela for Winks was so weird. It changed our whole formation, which we were getting to grips with and starting to go through the gears. Lamela, Moura Eriksen and Kane would have terrified the fuck out of them and dragged them deeper into their half. It’s inexplicable he reverted to a bastardised system from the weekend that was disasterous for us then. And was again tonight. But this was even worse because we were largely in control. Fucking weird and fucking worrying. Makes no sense for a man who rarely changes things in a game when they’re working for him

Plus Moura was terrorising them on the left. Literally terrorising them every time. He brought rose on, moved Moura to the middle and that threat was over.
We lost height at set pieces and all shape.
Crazy, crazy subs.

Poch ain't the same man. He constantly looks like someone biting his tongue to avoid saying what's really on his mind. Even his mannerisms are different.

Form comes from all the right parts working at the same time over an extended period of time. This doesn’t look like happening at the moment

Sure and I'm confident we'll go on a decent run of results.

We've gotta keep cool and remember 2 of these 3 defeats have come against Liverpool and away to inter, and just by one goal

We're not performing well but there's still some good players here

You are right, but if it doesn’t change very, very soon.... it will be

I'm done with poche. Excellent motivator but tactically Sherwood. Subs lost the game today. Poche is Tony Robbins, gets the best out of everyone but can't win tactically,. Gutted today with the loss.

This squad has worked their butt off for the past three years. They've then worked their butt off over a World Cup. How long can they be expected to keep trying every year if the club isn't investing? Same for Poch. How long is he supposed to keep caring if he isn't backed?

And please, don't anyone feed me the "Poch didn't need to be backed" crap. The man had been very explicit over the course of the past season. New players, signed early. Be brave. The tune only changed the second he got a multimillion pound pay rise and knew he needed to tow the party line.
Clearly something is not working or isn't right that's 6 goals in the last 3 game not good enough and again set pieces defending them are a joke.
I suppose it will change sooner or later but this team right now is under performance and to a degree I think the manager is too all of them need to sort themselves out.
